The Valley Land Trust is committed to working with rural and Tribal communities in SW Washington to preserve and restore aquatic and riparian habitats, expand habitat corridors, and connect people to their watersheds using a long term focus to strategically develop core habitat areas. We plan to balance land uses to maintain residential living space, ecologically productive areas, and working lands and forests. As watersheds continue to become more developed, we strive to protect, preserve, and enhance lands that will allow salmon, elk, beaver, and other critters a place to thrive while supporting the long-term land-uses of foresters and landowners.
