Valley Land Trust is a nonprofit organization dedicated to permanently protecting floodplain habitats and the riparian zones that support them.
Valley Land Trust currently is run by volunteers. If you're interested in donating to the cause, please contact us.
Valley Land Trust offers a variety of programs, including conservation easements, acquisitions, and watershed-specific workgroups that help create a community-based vision for local land management.
Land trusts and private landowners most commonly work together to protect conservation values on their lands through voluntary agreements called conservation easements. These agreements permanently limit the uses of land in order to protect conservation values.

Valley Land Trust was founded in 2024 by three volunteers: Brice Crayne, Bryan Ponti, and Nick Legg. Local citizens and scientists help support us by attending meetings and keeping us connected to the local community.
